About us
We are Helen and Rob —a couple, a creative partnership, who have taken their inspiration from the natural world, simplified its essence, shape and colour and created a bold, contemporary style. We set up Made in Eden in 2026, bringing together more than 25 years of experience in the creative industry and a lifelong love of nature. We are not naturalists or scientists, we are simply two people who find nature endlessly beautiful, and who want to find a way to share that through our own designs.
We work from a studio in Dorset, close to the sea and at the edge of the New Forest — a place that gives us no shortage of inspiration. Our prints are large, bold and minimal, designed to bring the quiet beauty of the natural world into your home or workspace. We put exceptional care into every design and every print, and in their creation we aim to minimise our impact on the environment and the planet.
Every print begins outside. We are always looking — for the most elegant curve of a leaf, the most characterful pose of a bird, the most satisfying arrangement of pebbles on a beach. From our observations we work up a sketch and then there is a considered process of working on screen, refining and simplifying until we find the essential form. Each design is original, drawn from life, by hand and eye. No shortcuts, no AI.
Our designs distill nature into its simplest forms, but we also take care to incorporate its imperfections. An Orange is never completely round, an Oak leaf is asymmetrical, we find beauty and character in natures imperfections.
